After nearly four hours in cars, 11 hours in planes, three rambunctious children on those planes, one rude adult passenger, and the general sleep deprivation that comes with such travel, we've arrived safely in Manchester. I can't complain much; compared to what people on the east coast and in random parts of western Europe have experienced this week, everything went pretty much perfectly. Our luggage met the weight requirement and it even arrived when we hoped it would. Despite being somewhat smelly and frazzled, we were happy to settle in and relax at home.
